HLG MUSIC DEPARTMENT PRESENTS HONORS RECITAL

Hannibal, MO--The Hannibal-LaGrange College music department will present an Honors Recital on Monday, April 23, at 10:00 a.m. in Parker Theatre in the Roland Fine Arts Center at HLG. Students who have excelled in their private voice and instrumental lessons will be featured.

Students from the studios of David Corkern, Jane Griffen, and Nancy Sweets will be presenting.

Chuck Nardi, alto saxophone, will perform Concertante by E. Paladilhe;

Matt Assel, trombone, will perform Sonata in Bb, Mvt. 1 by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart;

Eloy Santistevan, baritone, will sing Droop Not Young Lover by G. F. Handel;     and Anya Demidchik, soprano, will perform Per la gloria d adorarvi by G. B. Bononcina. Karen Meade will be the accompanist for the recital. These students will present this recital as part of their requirements for applied lessons as music majors.
