Somarriba Honored as Libero of the Week

Parkville, MO - The Hannibal-LaGrange University Men's Volleyball squad has had another member honored as an NAIA Player of the Week.  Sophomore Benji Somarriba earned the Libero of the Week honor after averaging 2.5 digs a game.  Somarriba also only had three passing errors on 89 attepmts for a passing percentage of .996.

Somarriba's stellar play help lead the Trojans to a 3-1 finish at the Lindenwood Tournament with all three wins coming against ranked opponents.

HLGU is a Division I NAIA (National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics) school and a member of the Mid-America Men’s Volleyball Intercollegiate Conference.
