Hannibal, MO - The Hannibal-LaGrange University Cross Country and Track and Field programs have recently signed Troy Pace of Jerseyville, IL. Pace will graduate this May from Jersey Community High School.
Pace has been a three time All-Conference cross country runner, been named to the All-Area Cross Country Team, a three time All-Conference track athlete, and has twice qualified for state in the 800 meter relay.
“Troy [Pace] is an excellent addition to the cross country and track program here at HLGU,” said Coach Jason Lewkowicz. “He embodies the type of student-athlete we try to recruit through his strong work ethic, desire to improve, and willingness to put Christ first in his athletic efforts. In addition, Troy [Pace] has already experienced a good deal of success in high school and should make an instant impact on the men's distance program."
Pace is the son of Army Chaplin Steven and Becky Pace.
HLGU is a Division I NAIA (National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics) school and a member of the American Midwest Conference.
