LEBANON, IL - Hannibal-LaGrange University has swept its way to American Midwest Conference Softball Player and Pitcher of the Week honors for March 28.

The Trojans' Jennifer Ogden has been selected as the AMC Softball Player of the Week, while Kachina Hudson is the honoree as the AMC's Softball Pitcher of the Week. Ogden and Hudson were picked based on their performances in games played from March 21-27.
Ogden, a senior outfielder from Elsberry, Mo., batted a scorching .692 on the week, collecting nine hits in 13 at-bats. Of her nine hits, Ogden had two doubles and three triples. She also drove in four runs while scoring eight.

In Hannibal-LaGrange's four games last week, Ogden had multi-hit efforts in two of them. She went 4-for-4 with a double and triple in the Trojans' 12-0 win over AMC foe Stephens College. In addition, Ogden went 3-for-3 in a 7-1 home win against Culver-Stockton College.

Hudson, a sophomore from New London, Mo., went 2-0 last week, allowing just one earned run in 12 innings for a 0.58 ERA. In those 12 innings of work Hudson allowed just five hits and struck out 14 batters with just one walk. She tossed a complete-game two-hitter in the Trojans' 12-0 win over Stephens, then followed that with a three-hitter in a 7-1 victory against Culver-Stockton.
