NSO Frequently Asked Questions

Except for a few athletic teams, all new students will move in on Thursday, August 15th, 2019, starting at 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. Please wait in your designated dorm lane in the Roland Fine Arts Center (RFAC) parking lot until 10:00 a.m. when move in begins.

You will enter the campus through the main entrance and line-up in your designated dorm lane in the Roland Fine Arts Center (RFAC) parking lot. Beginning at 10:00 a.m. you and your vehicle(s) will be escorted to the entrance of your residential hall where you will be met by the Trojan Army. Stay in your car! This group of highly motivated upperclassmen will unload the contents of your vehicle(s) and take them to your room. You will be given instructions for where to park your car and then return to your room.

Yes, orientation is for all incoming first-year students and transfer students.

On Thursday’s move in day we will host a Welcome meeting at 3:45 p.m. In the Parker theater. This will be a question and answer time with HLGU’s President and campus administrators. At the conclusion of this parents are welcome to join us for our walk of honor ceremony. At the conclusion of the Walk of Honor our new students are officially Hannibal-LaGrange University Trojans.
