Meet the Staff

I am privileged to serve as the Dean of Students and Campus Chaplain at HLGU. My personal mission is to cultivate Christ-centered leaders through discipleship, mentorship, and intentional relationships. Through the Student Life office, we want to help shape a vibrant campus culture that encourages students to grow in their faith, develop strong character, and pursue their God-given calling. If you find yourself in the L. A. Foster Student Center, stop by my office and visit with me!

“I help oversee the Student Life Department along with the housing needs of our students. My department works with students on their needs in all areas and connecting them with the right people. We help cultivate a culture of involvement in the other areas of Student Life and campus using our Resident Advisor program and Dorm Life. We coordinate different dorm events as well as community service opportunities for students. Our goal is for the student to feel welcomed and at home as well as encourage community among the residents of HLGU.”

“HLGU is founded on making eternal impact for Christ. My role is to work on reaching this vision through investing in students’ lives and guiding them in the journey of submitting to Christ. We do this through organizing various Bible studies, worship nights, and prayer groups. My department also helps students learn to put their faith in action by coordinating local service projects and by planning domestic and international mission trips.”

“I serve as the Director of Student Activities. My main role is to help implement a culture where students experience a sense of belonging and are proud to be Trojans. I oversee the Student Leadership Association, as well as the other various student clubs and organizations and intramural sports. My department encourages students to discover, develop, and utilize their gifts by providing exciting and diverse opportunities outside of the classroom.”
