Jenni Haner, Ed.D

Associate Professor of Education

I began teaching at HLGU in the fall of 2004. I am also an instructional coach for Quincy Public Schools at an elementary school. I have taught third, fourth, fifth, and sixth grade. I was a reading interventionist for students in grades 2 through 5 for 18 years. I absolutely love teaching! I have been teaching for 25+ years.

I have three children. Two are in high school and my daughter is in college.

My husband, Kurt, is a high school teacher in Hannibal. We love to travel and rehab older homes. My father was a military officer, and I spent much of my life in Germany. I hope to take my family there someday. I enjoy  reading, traveling, and walking my two dogs.
