Tomi Lowes, Ed.S., M.Ed.
Adjunct Professor of Education
I am Tomi Lowes, an Adjunct Teacher in the Education Department at Hannibal-LaGrange University. Also, I am the principal at Mark Twain Elementary in Hannibal. Before becoming a principal, I taught in Ralls County and at Eugene Field Elementary for eighteen years. However, I was thrilled to make the move into principalship six years ago. This position has allowed me to use my formal training in leadership to influence my teachers, students, and parents.
I enjoy reading, napping, and spending time at my kids’ extracurricular activities. I am married to Greg and have three children, Olivia, Madalyn, and Nolan. Olivia is attending Hannibal LaGrange University. Madalyn is attending Hannibal High School. She is an active member of the Hannibal Hurricanes Swim team, Hannibal High School Golf and Swim teams, and loves to sing. Nolan will be a 7th grader at Hannibal Middle School.
He is also a member of the baseball team Game Changers and is participating in his first year of middle school football. We reside in Hannibal, MO. We attend Calvary Baptist Church in Hannibal, MO.
