Application Deadlines

February 15 application deadline to student teach in the Fall semester
September 15 application deadline to student teach in the Spring semester

Evaluation Process

Formal evaluations by HLGU supervisors and cooperating teachers
Ensures student teachers are thoroughly and competently assuming professional teaching roles

Required Assessments

Score successfully on the Missouri Educator Evaluation System (MEES) assessment rubric
Pass the Missouri Content Assessment (Praxis) in area of certification to meet DESE requirements for Missouri certification
