Concert Choir
The Concert Choir of Hannibal-LaGrange University is a large ensemble performing quality choral literature from the Renaissance to Modern styles. The Concert Choir performs 2 – 3 concerts a semester and may participate in day-tours each semester as well. HLGU’s Concert Choir has been a staple vocal ensemble for well over 30 years. If interested in scheduling the choir for a performance, please contact us early so we may be able to accommodate you.

Chamber Choir
The Hannibal-LaGrange University’s Chamber Choir presents music as a worship ministry. As a mixed voiced ensemble, the Chamber Choir sings music of various styles along with the sharing of testimonies and scripture. Programs are flexible and can be prepared to fit your worship service or event needs. The Chamber Choir travels to churches and events on a love offering basis. Members must be available an average of 2 weekends per month.

Symphonic Band
The HLGU Symphonic Band with strings is open to all students by audition and involves the study, preparation and performance of representative concert band literature. The band emphasizes the techniques of good ensemble playing, including tone quality, intonation, balance and phrasing. This ensemble also incorporates string instruments. Small ensembles are chosen from this group.
