Help our students receive Knowledge for Service by providing tuition assistance.
Scholarships are vital to our student population with 93% receiving some sort of financial aid. You can help our students in receiving a strong educational experience in a biblically-based Christian environment with a gift towards scholarships.
An endowed scholarship provides aid for students in years to come and can be given in honor or in memory of a loved one. For help in setting up an endowed scholarship, please call the institutional advancement office at 573.629.3124.
Carroll Science Center
Carroll Science Center gifts help complete the funding for furnishings and fixtures.
The new 40,000 sq. ft., state-of-the-art Carroll Science Center provides facilities for the training of both RNs and LPNs along with housing computer, chemistry, and biology labs, classrooms, faculty offices, private and group study rooms, and a student lounge/common area.
The ever-increasing demands for life sciences-related training have led Hannibal-LaGrange University to design a technologically enhanced science building to meet our educational needs for future generations. This new building incorporates the newest advances in information technology, which will enable our students to enhance their understanding of the life sciences by conducting research of increasing complexity. A gift towards the Carrol Science Center will help complete the funding of the furniture and fixtures that make this nursing and life sciences-related training possible.
Friends of the Arts
Giving to Friends of the Arts supports the art, music, and theatre departments.
Your donation to Friends of the Arts will allow the division of fine arts to meet needs in current programs and grow for the future. Music, theatre, and art give back to our community what no other medium can accomplish, allowing God’s creative heart to shine though us. As you contribute to Friends of the Arts, you help to influence the direction of our nation toward a Biblical world view.
Support HLGU athletics by giving to the Trojan Club.
Your contribution to HLGU’s Trojan Club will be used to improve facilities and provide funding to enhance the success of HLGU’s 15 varsity teams and cheerleading program. Donations are also a part of shaping the character of men and women as students which will have an impact on them long after they graduate from HLGU
Trees, benches, bricks and blocks are all ways you can help beautify our campus and honor or remember loved ones.
HLGU participates in the Tree Campus USA program that recognizes Universities that effectively manage their campus trees while engaging the community and student populations in tree awareness. A donation of $500 plants a tree and provides for its upkeep.
Hannibal-LaGrange University has started a bench program to beautify and encourage the use of the outdoor spaces on our campus and has selected a bench style that will be used in a total of 25 benches for the campus. Your donation of $1200 will cover the purchase of one bench, an attached engraved plaque and delivery, installation and maintenance of the bench.
Simply send a check or give online at hlg.edu/giving indicating that your donation is to go towards a bench or benches. Please also include or enclose the exact name you would like on the engraved plaque. All plaque wording will be “In Honor (or In Memory) of (Name of your choice)”.
Bricks and Blocks
Stamp your name in history on the HLGU walkway by purchasing a brick or block engraved with your name, a loved one’s name, or a graduating class to provide a lasting remembrance. An engraved red brick is $100 and an engraved granite block is $1,000.
