SUMMARY:HLGU Disc Golf Glow Tournament
DESCRIPTION:Hannibal-LaGrange University will host a two-round disc golf tournament in conjunction with its 2022 HLGU Day of Giving initiative. \nThe event will be held on April 21\, 2022 on HLGU’s new disc golf course on campus behind the Roland Library. The first round of the event will start at 5 pm\, followed by a glow round with lighted discs and baskets at 8 pm. \nTwo-person teams can sign up for $50\, while HLGU student teams can sign up for $30. LED lights for the glow round are available for an additional $1 per light\, or participants may supply their own lights or glow tape. \nBetween rounds\, pizza by the slice will be for sale. \nRegister for the event by clicking here. \nInformation about HLGU’s disc golf course can be found by going to UDisc.com and searching Hannibal-LaGrange University. \nAll proceeds from this event will go toward HLGU’s annual Day of Giving. The day runs from noon on April 21 until noon on April 22. Friends\, alumni\, students\, faculty\, and staff are all encouraged to give back to HLGU. The University has set a goal of 250 new gifts in this 24-hour timeframe. \nThe new HLGU disc golf course was a direct result of last year’s Day of Giving. DESCRIPTION:Hannibal-LaGrange University will hold the Scarlet and Blue Auction on Friday\, May 20\, in the Roland Fine Arts Center. \nDoors for the event will open at 5:30 pm when a silent auction will begin. At 7 pm\, the silent auction will end and the live auction will begin. Heavy appetizers will be served. \nAdmission for the event is $10 per person. Tickets can be purchased in advance at hlguscarletandblueauction.eventbrite.com. Tickets are also available for purchase in the HLGU Institutional Advancement office in the Burt Administration. The auction will also include a few HLG memorabilia pieces. \nAll proceeds from the Scarlet and Blue Auction will go toward HLGU’s current financial crisis to help the University pay off or avoid any additional debt. \nThe institutional advancement office is looking for additional auction items.
