SUMMARY:HLGU Christmas Concert
DESCRIPTION:Hannibal-LaGrange University invites the community to the free annual music department Christmas concert on Thursday\, November 30\, at 7 pm in the Roland Fine Arts Center. \nPerformances will be given by the HLGU Concert Choir directed by Lori Scott\, and the HLGU Symphonic Band conducted by John Francis. \nPieces to be performed by the concert choir include a wide range of music from “The First Noel” to “Gospel Mass\,” and other Christmas carols. The symphonic band will perform the Christmas favorite\, “Joy to the World\,” and other holiday music. The concert choir and symphonic band will combine to close the concert with a carol medley. \nThis evening of beautiful and fun musical entertainment is free and open to the public. SUMMARY:Trojan Basketball Community Night
DESCRIPTION:Hannibal-Lagrange University would like to invite the surrounding area to a Community Night on December 14\, 2017. There will be no ticket fees for this game. The Men’s and Women’s basketball teams will be hosting Park University. \nThe games will begin at 5:30 PM with the Women’s tipping things off. The Hannibal-Lagrange Lady Trojans look for their first win in AMC Conference play.  The Hannibal-Lagrange University Men’s basketball program will begin at 7:30 PM as they look to improve their AMC conference record and currently sit in the top four in the AMC.  The men’s team had a two game winning streak going before a loss on Monday night by two points to Missouri Valley College. \nThe Mabee Sports Complex doors will be open for free admissions at both games as Students will be off campus at this time due to Christmas break. Hannibal-Lagrange University would like to fill the stands and make it a great atmosphere for both the spectators and the athletes.
