Richard Ehr, MBA
Chair, Business Department; Assistant Professor of Business Administration
Mr. Richard Ehr enjoyed a 20 plus year career in banking, investments, and sales & marketing. He then moved to Kirksville, Mo and he and his wife started a small farm raising livestock.
In 2024 Richard joined HLG as an Instructor of Business and Business Chair, where he teaches many of the Business courses. In 2025, he was blessed with the opportunity to oversee the Ag Business program.
Richard is married to his wife, Karla, and now resides in Monroe City, Mo. He and his wife have three grown children. Amanda (Andrew-spouse) with two children, Joseph and John. James is a graduate of HLG along with his fiancée (Lauren). Chloe is currently enrolled at HLG.
Mr. Ehr enjoys being outdoors, working on projects around the house, and spending time with his family. He also ministers to businesses and individuals helping them make Godly decisions in business and finance.
