Tammy Walsh

Tammy Walsh is the HLGU Assistant Professor of Art, and the Hagerman Art Gallery Director & Curator. Tammy started at HLGU in the Fall of 2022. Previously she resided in the St. Louis and Kansas City areas, where she taught art. She is no stranger to the Hannibal area, as this is where she started her art teaching career over two decades ago.

“I am so grateful, thankful, and blessed that the Lord called me back to this area, as HLGU is like family! It is good to be home again, as this is where my son John and daughter Sara feel is home as well.”

Tammy is married to Andrew Walsh, and her kids John Kliewer and Sara Kliewer attend HLGU.
