Chapel Exemption Form

Exemptions from chapel are uncommon and therefore handled on an individual basis. Exemptions are for one semester and therefore require reapplication at the beginning of each semester. Students who are denied exemption may appeal the decision by writing a letter of appeal. The appeal will be reviewed by the University administration. The administrative decision will be final. Exempted students will receive chapel credit for the semester they are exempt, but they must still register for chapel with their other classes. Students who fail to follow these guidelines are subject to loss of chapel credit and/or disciplinary notice.
