Hannibal-LaGrange University will welcome alumni, friends, students and the community back to campus for Homecoming 2026 on Saturday, Nov. 7, with a full day of activities designed to celebrate Trojan pride and reconnect the HLGU family.
The day will begin with the Homecoming 5K Run/Walk for Missions on Saturday morning. Participants can run or walk while supporting missions. Additional information and registration are available online.
Homecoming basketball action will take place in the Mabee Sports Complex, beginning with Lady Trojan Basketball at noon, followed by Trojan Basketball at 2 p.m. Admission is free for HLGU alumni and friends. The 2026 Homecoming Court will be crowned during the basketball games, adding another special tradition to the day’s festivities.
The Homecoming celebration will continue that evening with Booster Night featuring Keith & Kristyn Getty at 7 p.m. in the Roland Fine Arts Center. The annual event will include the presentation of alumni awards, a silent auction, dessert and a performance by the Gettys.
Keith and Kristyn Getty are internationally recognized for their contributions to modern hymn writing and are best known for songs including In Christ Alone. Their performance will provide a special conclusion to a day celebrating the HLGU community and its generations of alumni.
“Homecoming is a special opportunity for our Trojan family to return to campus, reconnect with friends and celebrate the university we share,” said Lauren Youse, HLGU Director of Alumni Services and Development. “Whether you come back for the basketball games, participate in the 5K, attend Booster Night or spend the entire day on campus, we hope you will make plans to come home to HLGU.”
