Georg Nowak and Amalia Balash are in love, they just don’t know it yet. Over anonymous correspondence the two have fallen for their mysterious pen pal, the only problem is that they know one another in person, and don’t like each other. In a musical filled with wrong assumptions and mistaken identities, will Georg and Amalia ever get their love/hate relationship untangled? Based on Miklos Lazlos play Parfumerie—which has been adapted into such beloved films as Shop Around the Corner, and You’ve Got Mail—She Loves Me takes this delightful romantic comedy plot and fills it with joyful music and spectacle.
