HLGU Nursing Students to Receive Pins

Hannibal-LaGrange University’s Craigmiles School of Nursing will give 31 nursing students their pins at the annual pinning ceremony on Friday, May 6 at 7 pm in the Roland Fine Arts Center’s Parker Theatre.

This year’s speaker will be Eydie Tipton. Raised in the Hannibal region, Tipton attended Quincy University and the Blessing-Rieman College of Nursing, receiving her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree in 2009. She has worked in critical care at Blessing and Hannibal Regional Hospital for the last seven years, spending time in intermediate care, intensive care, and cardiac cath lab/interventional radiology. She received her MSN with an emphasis in nursing education from BRCN in 2015 and currently serves as the associate nurse manager of the cardiovascular unit at Blessing Hospital.
