HLGU 2022 Years of Service Awards

Hannibal-LaGrange University celebrated its years of service awards at their Fall Semester Workshop on August 16, 2022. HLGU recognized faculty and staff for their years of service to the university in increments of five years.

“We recognized and celebrated twelve colleagues who have dedicated 175 years of service to the university,” said Dr. Robert Matz, Executive Vice President, Vice President for Academic Administration, Dean of the Faculty, and Professor of Christian Studies. “We honor their dedication and expertise to the students and mission of HLGU. It is a privilege to work alongside these individuals.”

Honorees for their years of service include:

 

5 Years

Silas Acuff, Head Women’s Soccer Coach; Director of International Students

Darrin DeLaPorte, Network Analyst

Jordan Hosmer, Assistant Professor of English; Theatre Assistant

Mary Shirley, Assistant Director of Financial Aid

Lois Storrs, Instructor of Nursing

Bruce Capp, Assistant Professor of Criminal Justice

Albert Higdon, Chief of Campus Police; Director of Public Safety

 

15 Years

David Hutchison, Public Services Technician and Office Manager

Mark Nowak, Computer and Acquisitions Technician

 

20 Years

Clay Biggs, Athletic Director; Chair, Division of Exercise and Sport Science; Assistant Professor of Exercise and Sport Science
