HLGU Theatre Presents “Chitty Chitty Bang Bang” April 10-12

The Hannibal-LaGrange University Theatre Department is presenting the production of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. This event will be held at the Roland Fine Arts Theatre nightly April 10-12 at 7:00 pm. Purchase tickets online here. Prices range anywhere from $10-$18. Group tickets are available.

Based on the classic 1968 film and the novel by Ian Fleming, this enchanting production promises to captivate audiences of all ages with its spectacular visuals, catchy tunes, and heartwarming story.

Chitty Chitty Bang Bang tells the whimsical tale of Caractacus Potts, an eccentric inventor, and his children, who embark on a magical journey with their fantastical car, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, that has the ability to fly and float. When they encounter a colorful cast of characters, both good and bad, the Potts family must use their courage and creativity to save the day and escape the clutches of the villainous Baron and Baroness Bomburst.

The production, directed by Sabrina Brookshire, features an all-star cast of talented performers, dazzling costumes, and mind-blowing special effects that bring the magic of the story to life.
