Dr. Ashley Newton Appointed Assistant Professor of Leadership at Hannibal-LaGrange University

Hannibal-LaGrange University is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Ashley Newton as Assistant Professor of Leadership, following trustee approval on October 17, 2025.

Dr. Newton currently serves as Director of Residential Life at HLGU, a role in which she has faithfully led efforts to foster a safe, welcoming, and spiritually enriching campus environment. Her leadership has impacted countless students through mentorship, community-building initiatives, and collaboration across university departments.

In addition to her administrative responsibilities, Dr. Newton will now join the faculty. Dr. Newton holds a Doctor of Ministry in Leadership from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, a Master of Arts in Leadership from HLGU, and a Bachelor of Science in Biblical Studies from HLGU. Her extensive experience includes roles in admissions, financial aid, and college ministry, reflecting a deep commitment to student development and Christian service.
