Marcia Walker, MSN, BS, RN
Assistant Professor of Nursing
Marcia Walker is a dedicated nursing educator with extensive experience in both clinical practice and academic instruction.
Since 2014, she has served as an online nursing instructor at Hannibal-LaGrange University (HLGU), where she leverages her rich background to provide high-quality education to nursing students.
Prior to her tenure at HLGU, Marcia was a telehealth educator and instructor at Methodist College and Illinois Central College from 2011 to 2013. In these roles, she was instrumental in integrating technology into nursing education, preparing students to deliver patient care through telehealth platforms.
She is married to a wonderful, supportive man and has 4 children and 9 grandchildren.
She loves to decorate for each holiday, read books by Dr. Charles Stanley and mystery novels, ride her bicycle, and work outside in the garden.
