Adam Clark MATL

Instructor of Teacher Education

Adam Clark is an adjunct instructor in the Education department at HLGU, teaching both undergraduate and graduate-level courses. Mr. Clark is also a Title I reading teacher at Central Elementary in Dexter, Missouri, as well as a parent educator for the Dexter/Richland/Bloomfield Parents as Teachers program.

He has always felt called to teach and loves mentoring and training the next generation of educators.

Mr. Clark is a proud member of Liberty Hill Baptist Church in Dexter, where he serves on the media team, assisting with the church’s production ministry.

He serves on the board of directors of the Delta Area Economic Opportunity Corporation (DAEOC), a community action agency serving six counties in the Bootheel.

He also serves on the board of directors of the Keller Public Library and is the secretary of the Dexter Friends of the Park Committee. He is an avid reader of science fiction, mysteries, and biographies, and plays trumpet in the Southeast Missouri Regional Jazz Orchestra.

His favorite pastime is spending time with his nieces and nephews, especially cheering them on at the various activities they are involved in.
