HLGU awards two full-time scholarships

Hannibal-LaGrange University has named two students as recipients of the HLGU full-tuition Founders Scholarship. Faith Clinton and Brandon White were awarded this honor after competing against several of their peers at a recent Founders Day event.

To qualify for this scholarship, prospective students must apply and be admitted to HLGU, and have an ACT primary composite score of 27 or higher. Students then present an essay and go through an interview with a panel of three faculty members.

Faith, of Sidney, OH, plans on pursuing a degree in nursing, while Brandon, of Lake St. Louis will major in Computer Sciences.

“All of us in the admissions office are excited to welcome Faith and Brandon to campus,” said Rachael Abrahamson, director of admissions, “and we very much enjoyed working with all the Founders Scholarship applicants. Each of them has something unique to bring to Hannibal-LaGrange University, and we look forward to seeing what they are going to do, and how far they will go, in the future.”
