Joe Thrower, PhD

Dr. Thrower has been teaching biblical studies for over a decade and enjoys discussing with students about the topic. As a small church pastor, he recognizes the need for a class that aids in understanding the biblical worldview.

Dr. Thrower graduated with his PhD in Biblical Studies in 2020 and has been teaching at HLGU since 2010. He has also been pastor of Prince Avenue Baptist Church since 2012. He has been married to his wife, Julie, since 2008 and has three kids. Dr. Thrower enjoys all things sports related and being outside.
