Elaine Carty

Music Faculty

An alumna of the institution, Elaine is in her 16th year of teaching Vocal Music at HLGU. She currently serves as an Instructional Faculty member in the Music Department. She holds a Master of Arts degree and a Bachelor of Music Education Degree.

In addition to her tenure at HLGU, Elaine retired after having taught 20 years in public school vocal music, K-12, particularly in the secondary grades, leading groups and soloists to receiving Exemplary ratings at District and State competitions.

Her husband, Ray, serves as Vice President of Institutional Advancement at HLGU. They have two married daughters, and four grandchildren.
