Leslie Harris, MSN, RN

Associate Professor of Nursing

Leslie Harris is an experienced nursing educator and clinician who currently serves as an Associate Professor of Nursing at Hannibal-LaGrange University. With a career spanning both academic and healthcare settings, she brings a wealth of knowledge and a passion for preparing future nurses for excellence in patient care.

Prior to joining HLGU, Leslie taught at Goodwin University in Connecticut and served as Director of Nursing at Stone Academy in West Haven, CT, where she oversaw the practical nursing program and mentored aspiring nurses. Her educational background includes teaching in associate degree and baccalaureate degree nursing programs. She brings expertise in nursing curriculum development. Her clinical background includes providing direct patient care at Eastern Connecticut Health Network and serving as a school nurse in the Vernon School System, where she supported student health and wellness.

Leslie is known for her student-centered teaching philosophy, leadership in nursing education, and commitment to developing competent, compassionate nursing professionals.
