Marcia Walker is a dedicated nursing educator with extensive experience in both clinical practice and academic instruction. Since 2014, she has served as an online nursing instructor at Hannibal-LaGrange University (HLGU), where she leverages her rich background to provide high-quality education to nursing students.
Prior to her tenure at HLGU, Marcia was a telehealth educator and instructor at Methodist College and Illinois Central College from 2011 to 2013. In these roles, she was instrumental in integrating technology into nursing education, preparing students to deliver patient care through telehealth platforms.
Marcia's clinical experience includes her work at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center, a renowned hospital known for its commitment to excellence in patient care. Her time there provided her with valuable insights into the practical aspects of nursing, which she effectively translates into her teaching.
She holds a degree from the University of Phoenix, further solidifying her foundation in nursing education. Based in Ursa, Marcia is committed to fostering the next generation of nurses, combining her practical experience and academic knowledge to enhance student learning and patient outcomes.
